PEER LEADERSHIP URBAN EXPEDITIONS

Five-day Peer Leadership Urban Expeditions set within the rich cultural, historical and natural environment of metropolitan Baltimore. Students on these expeditions explore the city, complete community service projects, climb Outward Bound's high ropes, overnight in our 30-foot-high tree house, and spend quiet, reflective "solo time."

One or two educators from each participating school accompany the selected students on their course. Funding subsidies are available to support these educational programs. Public schools pay a nominal admissions fee to participate. Programs run on a preset schedule from April through June and September through November. Programs are available upon request during the summer months.

"All the anger, tears and dirty clothes. // It was all for something bigger than man. // It was all for Outward Bound's plan. // To get rid of the nevers and make them remembers. // To take in what they gave and appreciate it. // At first I wasn't but now I'm glad they gave it. // To take ourselves and for the better change it. // To take my life and re-arrange it."
