INSIGHT DAY PROGRAMS

Daylong courses are offered at the Center's Leakin Park campus. Participants spend the day engaged in problem-solving exercises and challenge themselves and each other while climbing high ropes or the 40-foot climbing wall. As they tackle their fears, they build self-confidence and develop a sense of trust and teamwork. Teams from schools come together and work to bring the impact and learning from the experience back to their school's culture.

Insight Day Programs are funded through a variety of sources, including state funding, foundations and corporations. Public schools pay a nominal admissions fee to participate. Insight Day Programs run from Tuesday through Friday in the spring and fall seasons and by request during the summer months.

"The lessons that I have learned [at Outward Bound] are all important to me, but the one that is most important to me is the fact that I can do something that I never could imagine."
